Title Construction Supervisor (Electrical)
Wood is recruiting for an Construction Supervisor (Electrical) to be based offshore on a 4 weeks on 4 weeks off rotation on ADNOC Offshore project.Successful candidate must fulfill the below responsibilities and duties;   - Accountable for accurate and consistent preparation and execution of the project electrical work scope, installation and testing. - Adherence to the selected erection sequence in accordance with the project schedule. Preparation of electrical work packs - Liaise with the design team to ensure constructability input is built into the design and that the detail design is installation friendly and in line with the construction priorities - Play an active role in ensuring that all project HSE goals are achieved and where possible exceeded. Ensure all work is carried out in a safe and productive manner in line with Company and Client processes and procedures - Process safe completion of designated sub systems and systems in line with the project schedule and milestones in a consistent and timely manner. Assist in maintenance of the project budget through diligence and utilization of efficient and working practices - Be conversant with HSE plan and to implement the HSE procedures ensuring the health and safety of personnel - Assess effectiveness of working practices and systems with a view to continuously improving systems, personnel and team performances - Ensure that constructability is inherent within the design by being involved at the early stage of work scope and workpack compilation / development in accordance with company and project policies and procedures - Prepare workpacks including TRA’s, JMS, materials, Peer reviews, HAZID’s, Envid’s, COSHH, testing requirement, specialist tools and equipment, also identify specialists / vendors to perform identified tasks - Develop certification matrix with design team prior to workpack issue. Develop workscope estimates and register changes with supporting documentation - Compile, review and develop workpacks in accordance with the implementation process, associated standards, specifications and procedures - Ensure contents of workpacks meet with scope requirements. Raise and obtain approval for growth job cards. Ensure logic of work is updated on the plan and supporting systems - Conduct offshore surveys with design team. Address installation queries and revert with solutions - Monitor design delivery dates. Monitor and report on workpack progress. Monitor ongoing activities with regards to completion dates. Monitor punch-list closeouts after handover - Check completed workpacks prior to handover, raise punch lists if appropriate. Manage / action accordingly. Review completion certification and ‘as-build’ drawings - Identify resource requirements / materials / tools / spares / consumables / etc. Actively participate in all Company and Project Safety Initiatives. Attend meetings, (e.g. Kick-off and daily / weekly)

Title Lead Commissioning & Startup Engineer - Offshore
Provide direction to the IPMT and UZAI operations to enable earliest safe first production of hydrocarbons from the facility. This will be achieved by ensuring that both the Project and facilities are in a suitable state of readiness i.e. all required systems are properly commissioned and handed over, required start-up procedures are in place and understood and the work force is suitably prepared.   Responsibilities - Safe delivery of start up with zero hydrocarbons releases during start up activities. - Ensuring the facility meets requirements for handover. - Ensuring start up and handover of the facilities exceed the business plan; this includes safe introduction of hydrocarbons, efficient ramp up of production and capability of facilities to deliver intended production efficiency.   - Key Duties   - Providing visible safety leadership at project sites, through site visits, participation in audits and driving demonstrable safety behaviours. - Ensure emergency response processes remain effective through-out commissioning and start-up. - Ensuring effective control of work arrangements are in place for all operational commissioning and start-up activities. - Development of operational plan for all project commissioning and start-up related activities. -   - Integrate with the UZAI management team to minimise production losses related to project activities and maximize use of resources. and potential for learning and competence building. - Management of interface between IPMT and asset management team. - Integrate with IPMT for development of commissioning and start-up plans. - Effective communication with key stakeholders. - Interact as required with shareholders. -   - Review and ensure delivery of requirements for “Ready for Start Up” and “Handover”. - Review and agreement of final system performance testing criteria and verification of system performance testing prior to introduction of hydrocarbons and then handover. - Development of initial startup procedures and plan to align with the UZAI Operations team, Subsea, Brownfield and Commissioning activities. - Identify Standard Operating Procedures requirements and Plant Operating Manual amendments as required. - Ensure Operations assurance activities are carried out against an agreed plan. - Review Operations Readiness plan to identify gaps for improvement. - Ensure transition plans are in place and adequate from project to operations including systems, processes and responsibilities (including business systems). - Ensure all spares for commissioning and start-up are identified and available complete with recommendations for operational phase. -   - Ensure additional resources are in place to support commissioning and start up as required. - Ensure sufficient number of competent personnel are available to commission and start up the facility. - In co-ordination with UZAI management team ensure the operations and maintenance technicians are engaged in startup planning, familiarization and readiness reviews. - Performance management of direct reports and their teams (anticipated start up team of around 20 people including onshore and offshore) -   - Ensure final handover and acceptance by the UZAI management team is carried out in a transparent manner with punch listing criteria established as well as any transfer of budget responsibility.   - Education Attainment & Accreditation            Preferably degree qualified (or equivalent) in an engineering discipline

Title Offshore Instrument Commissioning Engineer
Wood is currently looking to recruit for a Offshore Instrument and Control Commissioning Engineer on one of its prestigious multibillion ADNOC Offshore projects to be based offshore on a rotational basis.   Successful candidate will be responsbile to perform the below duties and responsibilities.   Must have practical hands on field experience during all stages of project life Construction, Commissioning and start up and be able to communicate with team leaders of a multi-discipline team. Be a team player who can provide valuable input during both planning and execution phase. Must have working knowledge and understanding of yokogawa ICSS - Assist commissioning group and operations personnel assigned to the commissioning group at the onshore and offshore locations - Assist Co-ordination and execution of the commissioning activities at the onshore and offshore locations - Assist Co-ordination liaison for all interfaces on site and with all integrity groups to ensure to ensure the project requirements and performance standards are achieved, including maintaining schedule and cost targets - Review Operational Test Procedures associated with the Commissioning of Instrument systems; Fire & Gas System. Wood is currently recruiting for a Contract Manager to oversee the overall contract management and provide the necessary support to the client in the management of the contractual issues.   The PMC Contract Manager will be report to the Project Director and will maintain direct contact with the Clients Contract team.   The project period is approximately for 2-3 years, including both EPC design review phase and construction phase. - Collaborate with the client in any matter requiring assistance with contracts - Be well informed of the development of the Project and the status of Contract Changes for the Project under execution.
